Cancellation Policy
All users of The Volte UK must adhere to our standardised cancellation policy, enforced to ensure fairness and reliability for both Borrowers and Lenders. Each Listing and confirmed reservation clearly reminds users of these cancellation conditions.
Lender-Initiated Cancellation
- A Lender may cancel a confirmed rental at any point prior to dispatching the item without incurring any liability to the Borrower.
- In such cases, the Borrower will receive a full refund of all amounts paid for the rental, excluding any service fees already owed or paid to The Volte UK.
- The Volte UK may record cancellations by Lenders, and frequent cancellations may lead to restrictions on account privileges or other consequences.
Borrower-Initiated Cancellation
- A Borrower can cancel a confirmed rental without penalty if cancellation occurs 14 days or more before the scheduled rental start date.
- In this scenario, the Borrower will be refunded all amounts paid minus any applicable service fees owed or paid to The Volte UK.
- If a Borrower cancels within 14 days of the scheduled rental start date, refunds will be subject to the Lender’s discretion and the specific terms indicated on the individual Listing. Any refunds in this period remain at the Lender’s sole discretion.
Service Fees
- Please note, service fees charged by The Volte UK (including Borrower and Lender fees) are non-refundable under any cancellation circumstance.
Communication
- All cancellations must be processed through The Volte UK's online platform and communicated clearly between parties via the platform messaging system.
